Start automating in three simple steps.

Launch GoGhostWriter from your menu bar (macOS) or desktop window (Windows). Paste your text or code into the input field.

Configure Delay

Set your typing speed with the slider and toggle Humanize Typing if needed. Click "Start Typing" to begin the 5-second countdown.

Switch & Relax

Click into your target window. GoGhostWriter types your text out and stops immediately if you press ESC.

macOS Setup Guide: First-time Gatekeeper launch & Accessibility permission

Because GoGhostWriter is distributed directly, macOS Gatekeeper may show a prompt on first launch. Use either method below:

Method 1 (Fastest)

Control-Click Open

  1. Open GoGhostWriter.dmg and drag GoGhostWriter.app to Applications.
  2. Hold Control (⌃) and click GoGhostWriter.app in Finder.
  3. Click Open from the menu, then confirm Open.
Method 2 (Alternative)

Privacy & Security Settings

  1. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security.
  2. Scroll down to the Security section.
  3. Click Open Anyway next to the GoGhostWriter prompt.
Required: Grant Accessibility Permission

Enable GoGhostWriter in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility. If updating from an older version, toggle the switch off and back on once.

Windows Setup Guide: .NET 8.0 Desktop Runtime & SmartScreen note

1. Windows SmartScreen: If Windows SmartScreen appears on first launch, click More info → Run anyway.

2. .NET 8.0 Desktop Runtime: GoGhostWriter requires the .NET 8.0 Desktop Runtime (x64). If Windows prompts you to install it, follow the link and then launch GoGhostWriter.exe.

Yes. GoGhostWriter v1.5.0 pairs Unicode payloads with hardware virtual keycodes so every character types accurately inside AnyDesk, RDP, and Citrix sessions.

How does "Humanize Typing" work?

Instead of pasting from the clipboard, GoGhostWriter sends individual OS key events with varied timing, natural pauses at punctuation, and occasional neighbor-key typos that get fixed with Backspace.

How do I move my license key to a new computer?

You can deactivate a computer inside the desktop app, or click Manage License at the top of this page, enter your key, and remove an old device to free up a slot.
